Las Ramblas of Barcelona has been one of the most visited places in the world in 2013 according to Facebook.
The social network has developed a trends map of the most visited places in the world according to users’ check in and Las Ramblas of Barcelona is one of these places.
As locals we are, we are thrilled that one of the streets of our city is one of the most “social” parts of the world (and most visited). Furthermore, Barcelona City Ramblas (Pension Canaletas) is located in Las Ramblas, so we think it is possible some of the people who have made check-in on Facebook have also stayed in our rooms (and possibly also ckeck-in in Barcelona City Ramblas’ Foursquare page!).
Tourists are becoming more social and enjoy sharing the experience of your trip through your mobile or tablet device. Make check-in at famous places or upload photos to social networks are already part of the journey of millions of people.

Some call Feria de Santa Lucia and others, especially Barcelona inhabitants, Fira de Santa Llúcia. See AGBAR Tower at night, when fully lit in the middle of the night, that’s something wonderful. In addition, now we can enjoy a bit of atmosphere thanks to the show of light and color BruumRumm.
