Schedules to eat in Barcelona are different to the rest of Europe. The midday meal is usually 1. 30 PM to 4 PM. Dinner from 8.30PM to 10 PM

About shopping hours, some shops (usually the smaller) coinciding with the closing lunch. It is usually a pause of 14 to 17h.

For nightlife, clubs are open to 11PM, although many begin to not be animated until 1am or 2am.

    • Tax free: residents from outside the European Union are entitled to have Value Added Tax (known as IVA, in Barcelona; 21%) refunded on purchases of more than €90.
    • Sales: the winter sales generally begin in the second week of January and go on until the end of February, and the summer sales begin on 1 July and run until the end of August.
    • How to pay: most people pay in cash or with a credit card, when you must show your passport or identity card.

Barcelona is a big city. Enjoy the city on foot is great but where you can get walk, the best thing is to move by underground.
