Do you like shopping at a good price? So be quick because the 2014 summer sales are almost over! Specifically, while August 31 is the last official day of summer sales, very few shops open their doors that day. So most shops of Barcelona celebrate their last day of sales on Saturday August 30.
Although many people believe that they only find the best purchase the first week of sales, the last days of the sales there are last minute deals at irresistible prices, discounts can reach 50% or even 70% off.
Remember that anyproduct under the label “sales” must show the original price (before sales) and after price (sales price).
It is also important know that all products you buy in the last days of the sales in Barcelona have to get exchange or refund guarantee, so never forget to keep the purchase ticket for a few days.
If you visit Barcelona and you are a resident outside the European Union, you are entitled to a refund of Value Added Tax (known as IVA in Spain) on purchases over 90 €.
Barcelona citizens know it and if you come to Barcelona you must know it: the best place where enjoy the last days of sales in the city is the Shopping Line, 5 kilometers pedestrian precinct with wide pavements which can satisfy the most demanding requirements.
