“Lluvia cae lentamente sobre mí…”.How many remember this song from Enrique Iglesias?. “… que más da si contigo soy feliz”-went on to say.
But the truth is that the rainy days we often spoil the plans and do not know what to do. So it is time to discover what to do if it rains in Barcelona.
Definitely shopping centres are a good shelter for the rain . We have them half open, like The Machinist or CC. Glories, allowing us to walk without getting wet but not completely closed. And if the rain gets us on Sunday, we can always go to the Maremagnum shopping center, open all year.
A cup of chocolate
Rain is often linked with autumn or and winter. So do not hesitate and if it’s a rainy day enjoy a great cup of hot chocolate in Petritxol Street or some other place famous for its sweets, as the Granja Viader, birthplace of Cacaolat.
Often rain is expected. So if the weatherman announces rain days earlier, devote yourself to relax for a day with one of the many leisure activities and relaxing there in Barcelona, such as spending a morning or afternoon in a hammam with massage included .
You can use a raining day to enjoy the day at one of the many museums of our city . If Saturday or Sunday, many of them are free.
Another good option is to meet friends in a funky bar in town and spend the afternoon catching up.
Tourist busc… without umbrella! 🙂
If you are on holiday in Barcelona, do not let the rain slow you! Dare to take a sightseeing bus and watch Barcelona from within! Do not forget to buy a Barcelona Card for your tour bus if you want to repeat the experience next day it does not rain
