The Palau Güell is one of the monuments that offers free admission on Mercè. On Tuesday 24th September Palau Güell can be visited for free.
The Open Day is organized in two shifts: you can do a free visit to Palau Güell at morning or afternoon. Free tickets to visit the monument at morning will start at 10am. In the afternoon, tickets will start at 15h. Admission free show until capacity limits have been reached.
Palau Güell is a modernist building work of Antoni Gaudí. It is located on Nou de la Rambla street of Barcelona, near the harbor and the waterfront of the city. The palace was commissioned by Eusebi Güell, who felt a great admiration for Gaudí and financed several of his most famous works. This work is framed within the Catalan modernism, and it was the first major commission received Gaudí.
