Once again, on June we expect one of the most anticipated musical events of the year: Sonar Festival in Barcelona, an international benchmark that combines the artistic experimentation and the avant-garde since 1994. This year, specifically, Sonar 2015 will take place on 18, 19 and June 20 in different scenarios depending attend the Sonar by Day or Sonar by Night.
Sonar receives more than 80 thousand spectators from more than 90 countries around the world and to bring together 3,500 professionals and 1,000 accredited journalists every year. Since 2002, Sonar, Sonar festival organized more than 40 festivals in different parts of the world, always adapting the philosophy of Sonar Barcelona festival spaces and unique environments, revealing the most interesting international talent and the scene of the country where it takes place.
The values Sonar Festival has had since its founding have defined it as a link between creativity and technology, and it has emerged a strong commitment not only global event, but as a meeting point of different disciplines and creative communities both industry public and private.
Sónar Barcelona activities are divided into two main locations: Sonar by Day, Fira Montjuïc, concerts, showcases and professional area, whose main essence is tracking new talent; and the great shows at Sonar by Night, Fira Gran Via L’Hospitalet, where the biggest names on the international scene are presented.
